This reminds me of when my family argues. You are really good with photos! She has the exact face of mine when I hear my parents argue over money...

I was wondering if you minded if I painted this?I would (of course)have a link back to your work and everything. The emotion in the girl's face just...gets to me.I guess I feel like I can relate, not to the parents fighting but the pain you can see in the little girl.Beautiful work and thanks!

Amazing picture...

I think people who had these types of childhoods are the ones who grow the strongest because they don't ever want to replay the memories...

Very, very powerful picture~

Very powerful. Somewhat triggering too, and I kinda felt really bad for a moment there. So, obviously, it's a pretty good piece.

It's a strong and emotional picture for me. I don't know, maybe because I have a vague idea on what the girl feels like. Not sure. But the picture does have a powerful impact nonetheless.

Nice work!

The story of the darkess points in my life. Sad but true. I see so much of myself in this picture. Lovely affect with the lighting and how it splits the girls face, as if one side retains innocence while the other holds her pain.

This is beautiful, I love the sad feeling that you get from looking at it and how some people get a flashback about one of the few sad events in their lives :( (I myself have never been through it, I hear lots of stories about it)

Looking at this has honestly reminded me of my own child hood. It's a fantastic shot and it's brought back memories I thought I'd completely buried. Not a bad thing, though... it's just it's so powerful and incredibly capable of evoking covered emotions.

The door, lamp, couch and window in the background create a very good "imbalance" which I think suits the theme well. I wonder what the effect would be if the angle was a tad higher? Anyway, I really like it.

This makes me think of the people who underwent divorce "for the sake of the children". Is it really for their children's sake or for their own?

Two white collar guys arguing and the girl transforming into emo... Maybe if the modern families were made of man+women instead of bored man + crazy feminists without brains the girls with teddies could be saved?
